Wiring your new Mono-Trail trailer

As these trailers will only ever be towed by your motorcycle there is no need to use the current UK standard trailer plug/socket combination – which is very large and does not sit well on the back of a bike!
After much research we have decided to use a commonly available, robust environmentally sealed connector system well suited to the british weather!

This provides a petite 7 pin watertight plug and socket combination waterproof to IP68. The socket and plug join with a firm push and the outer ring of the plug screws onto the body of the socket – compressing a rubber seal on the face of the socket and making the combination watertight.

Both plug and socket have their own caps to protect them whilst apart again rated IP68.
